crackheads are the people in your neighbourhood
I just had to call 000 (Australias equivalent to 911 for non-australians)

This heroine junkie just overdosed on the street outside our building and his crackhead friends were trying to revive him to no avail. I called the ambulance they took like 20 mins to get there. I thought for sure the dude was dead.

They got there, gave him a shot of that stuff they give to heroine addicts and then miraculously he got up and walked off with his crackhead friends.

like dude seriously WTF??????

he pissed himself too. lol and to make maters worse people were just walking past pretending it wasnt there issue and even a pizza delivery dude stepped almost over him to get into t he building he was dying in front of.

My housemate was not going to bother calling 000. My housemate was the one that alerted me to the fact the dude was overdosing. But i kinda figure its the right thing to do. he is a junkie and no one might care too much if he did die, but i couldnt live with myself if i had have watched the police take him away in a bodybag and think well maybe i could have done something to stop that you know.

It would have been Naloxone - or one of it's generic names.

Adrenaline - lolz
Tho, Naloxone does cause the body to produce a rush of adrenaline after injection.
